My love for glaciers, wildlife and exploring remote regions goes back decades. When I finally made it to Argentina, I knew I had to find a way to set foot on the 7th continent, Antarctica. In 2023, after lots of searching for a fun, adventure-forward expedition with like-minded people, I found my way on an Atlas Ocean Voyages themed fly-cruise to explore Antarctica for 10 days. I immediately fell in love with the dramatic landscapes, the cheerful penguins and the on-board camaraderie.
