Vivy Travel Madagascar

Sustainable Tour operator/DMC in Madagascar

About Vivy Travel Madagascar

Vivy Travel  is a tour operator / DMC located in Madagascar. Its origins stem from a vision embraced by a group of young graduates from the University of Tourism and Hospitality in Madagascar. During one of our study trips, we witnessed the widespread destruction of our national parks and protected areas by bushfires, a direct result of the lack of income sources for local communities.

It is within this context that we conceived Vivy Travel, an immersive enterprise whose mission is to transform tourism into a lever for equitable economic development while preserving and protecting the environment. Over the years, we have forged strong bonds with local residents and developed immersive and interactive travel experiences.

Our approach primarily relies on partnerships with community associations showcasing artisanal products, often crafted by women, as well as with associations of local guides responsible for park protection. We also collaborate with eco-friendly camps and lodges that share our commitment to equitable and sustainable economic development. We deliberately avoid the most tourist-crowded areas, opting instead for stays with locals or in camps that bring you into direct contact with residents and the surrounding nature.

Vivy Travel also established its own association in 2022, named "Vivy Green and Humanity". This organization actively engages in protecting the rights of women and children, supporting community development initiatives, aiding the most vulnerable, and raising awareness of and safeguarding the environment in the Great Island.
