About Thaki Travel

We are Thaki Travel, an adventure local agency based in La Paz. Founded in 2011, by Anne Bialek and Jérôme Benassi, two french and adventurous friends who fell in love with the country and the kindness of bolivians people.

We offer private and tailored made trips all over Bolivia, with extensions possible in Peru, Chile and Argentina. We want our travels to reflect our travel spirit : humane, passionate, dynamic, sportive and rich in sharing unique experiences! 

Our pioneer spirit makes us today a reference in the organization of all types of trips in Bolivia, expert on the field and in the mountain.

From the unmissables of Bolivia, bike tours on the shores of Lake Titicaca, luxury honeymoon on the Salar de Uyuni, glacial ascent in the Cordillera Real or an immersion in the fascinating Amazonian forest... We like to explore and innovate. We invest in expeditions to open new routes and build new original itineraries for our clients. We are always looking for the best services, from the choice of the driver during an expedition in the Lipez to the professionalism of a certified mountain guide for a glacial ascent. 

We have built strong friendships with local communities giving us privileged contacts and access to authentic and off the beaten track experiences.

We are very sensitive to responsible tourism. Its important for us to participate in the local development of Bolivia. We have carried out several social actions to improve the lives of local communities and we build all our itineraries in a sustainably-driven approach.

With Thaki, wich means "paths" in Aymara language, wander around new and original paths in Bolivia !
