About Tatra Escapes

Tatra Escapes is a UK based company offering authentic active travel packages to Slovakia. We focus on the Tatra Mountains region and its surroundings - Tatra Mountains National Park, Slovak Paradise National Park and Pieniny National Park. The founder was born and bred in Tatra Mountains herself, hence the business idea and passion to showcase the beauty to the world and support local communities. 

Most of our packages are active - walking, hiking, wellness (yoga and hiking) and winter multi day tours. Our trips consist of mainly solo travellers of any ages, but we welcome everyone from groups of friends to couples. We also offer self guided walking holidays. 

We believe you can't beat spending time in nature, while being active and surrounded by like minded people. All of this is done in the most sustainable way possible. We don't overcrowd our trips, nor we lead any trips in the busiest times of the year. This way our guests can enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the region uninterrupted.
