About Hillgoers

Established in 2016, Hillgoers are a Scottish outdoor experience provider based in Royal Deeside, offering a wide variety of activities with the help of our highly qualified team and partners. We specialise in guided walks, courses, dark sky/stargazing events, and outdoor weddings with our sister company, Wild Scottish Weddings!

Operating all year round, we offer high-quality tailor-made experiences for individuals or small groups.

With our family home in Royal Deeside, we are ideally placed for Cairngorms National Park, only a 45-minute drive from Aberdeen International Airport. We work closely with Balmoral Estate, the Scottish home of the Royal Family, and with Mar Lodge Estate (National Nature Reserve, just outside Braemar) on conservation projects that are intrinsically linked to climate change prevention and biodiversity improvements. These strong connections allow us to offer exclusive insights and access to these beautiful locations.

Our guided walks are suitable for all abilities and can range from 4-20+km (2-10+ hours), covering everything from mountain-level to coastal walks, allowing you to discover the beauty of nature within.
