About Cascada Expediciones

Cascada Expediciones is an award-winning tour operator, named as one of the world´s best by National Geographic in 2008 and 2009, dedicated to immersing inquisitive travellers in nature. We lead soft-adventure trips throughout Chile, including Easter Island, the Atacama Desert and Patagonia, Argentina and Bolivia, with plenty of options for families, skiers and foodies.

We are defined by our love of nature, and protecting it is at the forefront of our business model.  All of our tips are designed to make as small an impact as possible upon the environment, and we choose to work with local providers who think the same way we do.  We take small groups to off-the-beaten-track spots, working to open up tourism further afield and create business opportunities.

Cascada also runs EcoCamp Patagonia, a fully sustainable camp/hotel hybrid inside the Torres del Paine National Park.  The camp features the world´s first geodesic dome accommodations and is completely eco-friendly, from the composting toilets down to the solar/hydro derived energy which provides 98% of its needs.  From here, Cascada leads short and long excursions out into the wild´s of the park including puma tracking, photography, fly fishing, sea kayaking, and more.
