Summer Feet Cycling Launches Two New Self-Guided Cycling Itineraries for Time Crunched Travelers
Story by Summer Feet Cycling and Walking
Portland Maine based adventure travel company Summer Feet Cycling, announced the launch of two new self-guided cycling tours for time crunched travellers, a four-day and three night bicycle tour from Kennebunk, Maine to Bailey Island, Maine and two-day and one night trip from Portland, Maine to Bailey Island, Maine
The tours offer people the opportunity to explore the best of the Maine coast on a bicycle without worrying about logistical details. Participants can begin the tours on any day and guests are met the first day by a member of Summer Feet Cycling staff who orients them to their bike and provides them maps and route notes for their ride. Guest luggage is transferred to their next lodging and participants are free to cycle at their own pace, stop and explore as much as they like. The tour price includes lodging, bike rentals, luggage transfers, detailed maps and route notes.
According to The U.S. Travel Association’s Future Viewtm research, leading edge travel consumers are increasingly individualistic and are limited on time. Company founder Norman Patry said, “Self-guided bike tours have always been a big part of our business, these new shorter trips make this exciting experience available to a larger audience.”
The four-day, three night Kennebunk to Bailey Islands tour http://www.summerfeet.net/trips/kennebunk-to-bailey-island/ is priced from $950.00 per person and the two-day/one-night Portland to Bailey Islands tour http://www.summerfeet.net/trips/portland-to-bailey-island/ tour is priced from $395.00 per person.
