Explore Siem Reap Beyond the Angkor Temples
Now there's more for visitors to experience in Siem Reap on a unique day trip that combines fun activities off-the-beaten-track with sustainable and socially responsible travel.
It's hard to visit Cambodia and not feel an instant attraction to the friendliness of its people and a desire to give back to the community in one way or another. Now there's a responsible and sustainable way to do so while also enjoying a great day out.. and did we also mention you'll finish the day with great memories and some take-home goodies!
Siem Reap's newest cycle tour explores the town's back roads and hidden attractions visiting a number of locally based socially responsible enterprises, NGO's and sustainable initiatives. Along the way you'll enjoy some hands-on fun while also seeing first hand what goes on behind-the-scenes away from the tourist busses and crowds visiting Angkor.
Even your mode of transport to navigate from stop to stop along Siem Reaps peaceful backstreets is pollution free, using well maintained imported mountain bikes led by a friendly and knowledgable English speaking local guide. There's no better way to absorb the sights and atmosphere of the surrounds than from two wheels.
Highlights from the day include mine detecting hero rats, creative and beautiful products made from recycled plastic and a delicious modern twist on a traditional local spirit. It's a half day packed with unique activities, sights and memories and a great way to responsibly support the community.
