Make your way through rural Minho, often on ancient Roman roads. With this self-guided program, you can follow the Portuguese Way of St James in total autonomy and freedom. Soak up the history in Ponte de Lima, admire the views from Labruja Mountain and explore the fortress in Valença before crossing the River Minho, the natural border between Portugal and Spain.

Medieval Tui and its fortified cathedral are the first highlights you’ll encounter in Galicia. Between here and the intriguing city of Pontevedra you will traverse some beautiful stretches of forest and peaceful countryside, with views of the Ria de Vigo lagoon around Redondela. The thermal waters of Caldas de Reis will soothe your feet for the onward journey to pretty Padrón and your ultimate destination of the cathedral in the heart of Santiago de Compostela’s medieval centre.

We organize the accommodation and all the paperwork. Walk with the reliability of our road-book and the security of our emergency support. For added convenience, we also offer the service of luggage transportation between the hotels.
