While you can start this tour any day during the green season, note that rains really begin to pick up sometime in September, and continue to gain strength into October and last through November. For travelers looking for dry conditions on a trip in Costa Rica in October or November, we might recommend a trip instead to the Caribbean side of the country. But whale and bird enthusiasts will not be disappointed by the amazing diversity we encounter on this amazing Costa Rica tour.
