PORTLAND, Ore. — This March, food-loving Portland will once again dedicate an entire month to celebrating the city’s acclaimed dining scene with Portland Dining Month. From March 1 to 31, chefs throughout Portland’s neighborhoods will offer three-course dinners —including an appetizer, entree and dessert — for $29 every day of the week. Showcasing award-winning chefs and restaurants, Portland Dining Month makes culinary exploration of one of the nation’s most talked-about food destinations even more affordable.
Now in its sixth year, Portland Dining Month will feature more than 100 restaurants, including farm-to-table icons such as Paley’s Place and Higgins Restaurant alongside local stars like Departure, Laurelhurst Market and Levant. Portland Dining Month is presented by Travel Portland, the official destination marketing organization for the city of Portland, as part of its larger “Portland Is Happening Now” winter tourism campaign.
“Portland Dining Month is back and bigger than ever,” said Jeff Miller, Travel Portland president and CEO. “Portland’s acclaimed food scene includes some of the best chefs and restaurants in the country, and this year we have more participation than ever before. With so many favorites returning and new choices added, Portland Dining Month is the best time to eat your way around the city.”
In addition, Portland Dining Month is once again partnering with OpenTable to benefit Oregon Food Bank. For every reservation booked through OpenTable, Portland Dining Month will make a donation to Oregon Food Bank to contribute to its mission of distributing emergency food to hungry families. Portland Dining Month is supported by community partners, including Alaska Airlines Signature Visa, Sysco, Umpqua Bank, and Columbia Distributing and its partner breweries, listed below.
