The via ferrata — a climbing route that uses fixed cables and ladders — on Fiesch-Eggishorn, Switzerland allows climbers to enjoy an experience somewhere between mountain hiking and all-out mountaineering. The Eggishorn (2,926 m/9,600 feet above sea level) is the only place from which you can admire the Great Aletsch Glacier in its entire elegance and as you turn around, a perfect 360° panorama is waiting for you.
