Sunrise Over Secret Lake In The Rockies

It always amazes me how easy it can be to find off the beaten path places, when hearing other people mention how hard it can be. 

This is one of my favourite lakes in the Rockies.  The best part about it?  It's twenty minutes from one of the busiest driving routes in the area, with parking lots lined up with coach buses and crowds taking photos at every lake along the way. 

But this lake?  No one knows it's there.  No one goes there. 

But we do!  During our tours in the Rockies, we don't just visit this lake, we camp here for two nights, exploring the surrounding mountains by day.
