Dhampus (1,770m) Day Hike

During the trek you will see beautiful landscapes and spectacular views. This is a simple itinerary from Pokhara to Dhampus, and onto Pothana and the Australian Camp. This will provide you with a most enjoyable day trip. 

After breakfast, we will drive to Phedi and start the hike through the countryside villages, lush forests and farming land to get to Dhampus. Dhampus is a stunning village with a scenic viewpoint of the Machhapuchhare and Annapurna range

We will continue trekking to Kande and then take a 40 minute drive to Pokhara. This Hike includes rural cultural activities with fascinating ethnic groups and mountain views.

We recommend this trip for splendid views of the Annapurna range and other peaks in the Himalayan range. 

Dhampus is a small ethnic village of Gurung communities in the northern face of the pokhara valley behind the lush fields. The village is ideal for an overnight stay to witness the sunset and sunrise views over the Pokhara valley, Fewa Lake and the World Peace Stupa.
