Black Bear on Vancouver Island

This is a black bear on Vancouver Island.  The Island has over ten thousand black bears living throughout the coastal wilderness.  The bears can be seen at low tide along the shoreline as they chow down on barnacles, muscles and any other seafood delicasies they can get their paws on.

During our Guided hiking tours on Vancouver Island  you can hop on a boat excursion in Tofino to search for bears in their natural habitat.
